ISO 45001:2018:-

Initially Known as OHSAS 18001 (a British standard for occupational health and safety assessment series) which was worldwide accepted for its effectiveness in the field of industrial safety and health. Now it is officially adopted by ISO as 45001 in 2018 with the minor improvements of the system.

This is OH&S system (Occupational Health and Safety) mainly focus on the risk associated with industrial work at every level and its reduction so that incident and accident cases can be reduced. It also consider the health hazards related to long term/short term exposure to the source of hazard in the industries. It is completely assessment based method which results in the elimination, substitution, control with use of PPEs or any other control to reduce the risk to health and safety for the worker under the organization.
