Thiamethoxam is a Insecticide with contact, stomach and systemic activity. Acts as Agonist of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, affecting the synapses in the insect central nervous system. It is rapidly taken up into the plant and transported accordingly in the xylem. It is used for control of aphids, whiteies, thrips, ricehoppers, ricebugs, mealybugs, white grubs, Colorado potato beetle, ea beetles, wireworms, ground beetles, leaf miners and some lepidopterous species
